ANNOUNCEMENT RE JAHNKE GMBH - INSOLVENCY & NEWLY FORMED COMPANY - Updated on Friday 4th May
4th May: Production has resumed and it is anticipated that deliveries into the UK will recommence at the end of May/early June with delivery to our customers approx 10 working days thereafter. Initially, there will be a limited selection of products available and we will update our website accordingly over the next 3-4 weeks.
'JAHNKE GmbH & Co. KG', a long established German manufacturer, recently announced insolvency. Jahnke GmbH & Co. KG was taken over on Monday 16th April, 2012 by 'Savic Holding AG' and the new company will be called 'Jahnke Vertriebs GmbH'. This newly formed company has taken over the brands, models, design rights and inventories of the insolvent 'Jahnke GmbH & Co. KG'. It is expected that production will resume in the near future, with the focus initially being on Media Furniture and Computer Desks.Saxen will continue to update this information page, as and when we receive further news from 'Jahnke Vertriebs GmbH'. We anticipate that the current lead time for Jahnke orders is approx 8-10 weeks and we will continue to update this accordingly.Saxen would like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this causes to our customers. High quality designer computer desk featuring the intelligent (R) cable catch system.
This dazzling modernistic laptop desk consists of a 1200x600mm rectangular desk top with a sleek glass top plate and 2 wide, push to open pink storage drawers with matching glass fronts. The innovative (R) cable catch system is located at the rear of the desk top and this consists of a cleverly hidden compartment which houses a bank of sockets connected to an extension cable. Your laptop, iPad, iPod and mobile phone chargers can be plugged into the bank of sockets with all wires being discreetly hidden from view. Only one power cable will extend from the rear of the desk to your power supply. The integral lighting kit is also situated in the rear compartment. Normally an additional extra, we have included it in the price as it literally brings your desk to life and further enhances its stunning appearance.
The Jahnke PCL500 Pink And White Home Desk has 4 polished chrome angled legs which complement the glass desktop and drawers.
The Jahnke PCL500 White and Pink Desk is also available in White or Black (see separate product).
